The BiBiBi project is a Binational Bimodal Bilingual Language Acquisition study. It is a collaboration between the University of Connecticut, Gallaudet University, and Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. The goal of the project is to study how children acquire both a sign language and a spoken language. The child participants include Kodas, hearing kids of Deaf adults, and DDCIs – Deaf children of Deaf parents, using cochlear implants for spoken language.
